DNR Requests Proposals For Three Brownfield Reuse Planning Projects

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) posted requests for proposals on three brownfield planning projects. The projects are funded through federal Technical Assistance Grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  

Fredonia Brownfield Site Reuse Concept Planning 
The DNR seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing consulting services to assist with brownfield redevelopment planning to identify redevelopment opportunities for a 10-acre site in the village of Fredonia, Wisconsin.  

Park Falls Brownfield Site Reuse Concept Planning 
The DNR seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing consulting services to assist with brownfield redevelopment planning at a property in Park Falls, Wisconsin.  

Ripon Brownfield Site Reuse Concept Planning 
The DNR seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing consulting services to assist with brownfield redevelopment planning for two properties in the city of Ripon, Wisconsin.  

Each project will advance the redevelopment of specific brownfield properties for the benefit of the communities.   

Proposals are due Nov. 9, 2026, by 4 p.m. The RFPs are available on the RR Program Public Notices webpage. 

Request For Proposals: Community Liaison For PFAS In Private Wells – Town Of Peshtigo

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is accepting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing consulting services in the town of Peshtigo. The required services include community outreach, private wells testing for per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), technical review of data and support for residents who qualify for a long-term safe drinking water solutions. The DNR intends to award a professional services contract to one qualified firm for this work. 

Interested parties should submit their qualifications and proposals by Nov. 9, 2026.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) posted requests for proposals on two brownfield planning projects. The projects are funded through federal Technical Assistance Grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 

Evansville Brownfield Site Reuse Concept Planning
The DNR seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing consulting services to assist with brownfield redevelopment planning to identify redevelopment opportunities for a former auto service shop located in the city of Evansville. The project will advance the redevelopment of the city-owned property for the benefit of the community.  

Rice Lake Brownfield Site Reuse Concept Planning
The DNR seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing consulting services to assist with brownfield redevelopment planning at two lakefront properties within the city of Rice Lake, Wisconsin. One city-owned property is vacant, and the other property owner may reconsider relocating operations to allow the city of Rice Lake to pursue lakefront redevelopment opportunities. The project will help advance the reuse of the properties for the benefit of the community.
