The Remediation and Redevelopment Program will host an online meeting of the Contaminated Sediments External Advisory Group (EAG) on Wednesday, December 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This is the second of two meetings during which interested parties may provide input on calculation of financial assurance. Financial assurance may be required when engineering controls are utilized to address contaminated sediment left in place under a current emergency rule; financial assurance requirements are also included in proposed permanent rule changes to NR 700. Scenarios and the factors used to estimate financial assurance costs will be discussed.
