On April 9, 2019, the Remediation and Redevelopment (RR) program will host a meeting to provide information and seek input on the development of revisions to select provisions of Wis. Admin. Code chs. NR 700–799, Environmental Protection – Investigation and Remediation of Environmental Contamination.

This meeting is part of a series of rule development meetings that the RR program is hosting as it develops proposed rule revisions.  The April 9, 2019, meeting will include:

• An introductory white paper regarding soil standards-related revisions to Wis. Admin. Code ch. NR 720.
• An introductory presentation and first draft of rule changes regarding soil management-related revisions to Wis. Admin. Code chs. NR 708, NR 718, and NR 724; and
• A second draft of proposed rule changes to address databased listings and notifications requirements imposed by 2015 Wis. Act 204, and related fees and procedures.
