RR Program Seeks Spills and Site Assessment Team Leader

The Remediation and Redevelopment (RR) Program is recruiting a Spills and Site Assessment Team Leader.

The qualified candidate for this advanced position could work in most statewide DNR offices. The deadline to apply for this position is October 19, 2021.

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the DNR’s policies, procedures and administrative rules dealing with hazardous substance spill sites and the federal Superfund Site Assessment Program. The Team Leader coordinates with the RR Program Management Team to establish team objectives and priorities, to develop work plans and to ensure that team tasks and objectives are accomplished. 

This is a technical position in the areas of geology and hydrogeology, well hydraulics, chemistry, soil science, environmental investigation techniques and strategies, remedial system design and biology.  This position has a very high level of responsibility requiring statewide expertise and coordination of a major environmental program that affects other DNR programs, state agencies, communities and the public.
