Reminder: Issues & Trends Webinar on October 21, 2020; PFAS Discussion with Ginny Yingling, MN Dept. of Health

The Remediation and Redevelopment Program reminds you that it will present the next installment of its Issues & Trends webinar series next week on Wednesday, October 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The scheduled presentation is PFAS: Fate & Transport, Site Characterization and Remediation.

Ginny Yingling, MN DHS

The presentation is a discussion of per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS) with Ginny Yingling. Ginny is a senior hydrogeologist in the Environmental Health Division of the Minnesota Department of Health. Since 2003, she has been the agency’s lead PFAS investigator. Ginny also served as the co-chair of the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council’s PFAS Team that developed an in-depth report on the current state of PFAS science and related factsheets, online training modules, workshops and a risk communication toolkit.
